Season 1 of 2013 World Championship Series Premier League competition has reached the round of 16 in Europe and America, while Korea is just a bit ahead in the round of 8. We've already seen momentous upsets, nail-biting comebacks, and the now-infamous Group of Death, from Korea's round of 16. If you're hungry for more, there's still plenty of epic StarCraft II WCS action to come as the Season 1 League Regional Finals for each region are fast-approaching. Today, we're pleased to reveal the exact dates for each of the upcoming Premier League Regional Finals events this season.

2013 WCS Season 1 Premier League Regional Finals dates:

• WCS Europe, hosted by Electronic Sports League (ESL), will take place from Saturday, May 25 through Sunday, May 26.
• WCS Korea, hosted by GomTV, will take place on Saturday, June 1.
• WCS America, hosted by Major League Gaming (MLG), will take place from Saturday, June 1 through Sunday, June 2.

Though we'll announce more details in days to come, we'd like to take this opportunity to remind you how these events will work. Regional Finals will feature the top 8 players from their respective regions as they compete in live studio matches to earn seats at the cross-region Season Finals event. While the WCS Europe and WCS America Regional Finals will take place entirely over the course of two days, WCS Korea will span the course of three weeks. The round of 8 and semifinals for WCS Korea will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 14 through May 23, while June 1 will feature the Regional Finals as a standalone event -much like Code S finals of Global StarCraft II League (GSL) seasons past.
