You may soon have the chance to further perfect your cosplay version of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s Snake, thanks to a new pair of boots being created by Puma.
Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima sent out a tweet today with photos of the new Phantom Pain-style “sneaking boots” that Konami is collaborating with Puma on. You can check out some pictures of them below, as well as the stylish box they come in.
Kojima notes they even come with leggings like those worn by Venom Snake in The Phantom Pain.
Unfortunately, he didn’t mention many of the most important details, like when and where these will be available, how much they’ll cost, and whether they’ll be available in North America or Europe. We’ve followed up with Konami to find out more, and we’ll report back with anything we learn.
These are the same boots that you may have seen pictured in a display at last year’s Tokyo Game Show.
Konami has worked with Puma before to offer limited-edition merchandise through Puma’s Japanese website. Separately, the publisher also offers a variety of Metal Gear branded merchandise and apparel through its online store.
The Phantom Pain launches on September 1 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. While Kojima continues to promote the game, rumor has it that he will part ways with Konami following its release.
