Demi Lovato’s Video Game Out Now

Following Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Kim Kardashian, singer-actress Demi Lovato now has her own video game.

From mobile game giant Pocket Gems comes Demi Lovato: Path to Fame, an interactive “story” released through the developer’s Episode series. You can get it today free from iTunes and Google Play.

In the game, players seek out stardom under the guidance of Lovato, who collaborated “closely” with Pocket Gems for the game. Players will get to see “what it’s like to be on tour with Demi while chasing their dreams of becoming a famous musician.”

As in real life, players will have to make “difficult choices” through the game. For example, they’ll need to determine “what they are willing to sacrifice to achieve their dreams.”

In addition to Lovato, Path to Fame features prominent figures from her life, including her band and manager. Players can also dress their character in “hundreds” of clothing styles, and earn bonuses for going on “romantic” dates, attending “exclusive parties,” and partaking in the general tour life.

“I wanted to make sure this story captured my voice perfectly, so I worked in tandem with the Episode team to add authentic touches,” Lovato said in a statement. “As my Lovatics know, it’s very important that my personal experiences come through in everything I do and this story is no different. I think they will really enjoy this exclusive glimpse into my life that they haven’t seen before.”

Lovato’s own path to fame started when she appeared on Barney & Friends. She rose to fame on the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock and is now a major recording artist.
