EA Sports has released a free player likeness update for Madden NFL 16, changing the looks of more than 180 players in the pro football game. The update actually arrived yesterday, September 10, to coincide with the NFL season-opener between the New England Patriots and Pittsburgh Steelers.
The patch, available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (there was no mention of Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3), updates players’ faces to look more true-to-life. In the case of San Diego Chargers free safety Eric Weddle, the changes are dramatic, as he now has the epic beard he sports in real life.
