PS4 Racer Driveclub Getting Free Bonus Tracks Every Week Until Christmas

As PlayStation 4 racing game Driveclub closes in on its first anniversary, developer Evolution Studios has announced plans to launch new, free Sprint mode tracks for the title every week until Christmas.

This starts today, September 14, with the new Nilgiri Hills (India) and Taapaca (Chile) tracks. You can see these two courses in action through the video below.

In addition, Evolution has announced that a “big” update for Driveclub will be released in October. The developer didn’t say what new features or fixes this update might include, but the studio previously talked about adding new difficulty options, community options, and drift mode tweaks through future updates.

#DRIVECLUB – Next month we’ve got a BIG update for you all, but you’ll have to wait until then before we can share the details.

Custom lobbies for Driveclub’s multiplayer mode will arrive around the same time that this update hits.

Despite getting off to a tough start, Driveclub has now sold more than 2 million copies. In addition to the free tracks and updates mentioned above, Evolution has teased that it has major plans for the game in the coming year, including “big surprises” to be announced later.
