Speaking this week about his uncertain future in the game of golf, legend Tiger Woods said he’s spending a lot of his time these days playing video games as he tries to get healthy again.
“I am really good at playing video games, really good,” Woods said at the Hero World Challenge event in the Bahamas, as reported by NY Daily News. “I swear, that’s basically how I pass a lot of my time.”
There’s no word on which games Woods is playing the most.
EA Sports dropped Woods as the cover star and namesake for its golf games two years ago. He was replaced by Rory McIlroy for the developer’s new Rory McIlroy PGA Tour series.
Woods had his latest back surgery this fall. Speaking in the Bahamas this week, he candidly acknowledged that he has no idea when he’ll be able to return, if he can at all.
“There’s really nothing I can look forward to, nothing I can build towards,” Woods said, according to GameSpot sister site CBS Sports. “It’s literally just day by day and week by week and time by time. Where is the light at the end of the tunnel? I don’t know.”
