Last Chance to Play Uncharted 4’s Closed Beta, "No Plans" for Open Beta

If you’re looking to play Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End‘s multiplayer mode before the game officially arrives in March 2016, now is your last chance. The game’s ongoing closed multiplayer beta, which started earlier this month, officially goes offline December 13. An exact end-time for the beta has not been announced.

The closed beta is currently available for people who bought Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection.

It is likely to be the final beta for Uncharted 4. Naughty Dog’s Arne Meye says in the comments of this PlayStation Blog post that the developer has “no plans” for an open beta sometime down the road.

Online multiplayer normally requires a PlayStation Plus membership on PS4. However, that’s not the case for this weekend, as all online play is free for everyone as part of a weekend-only promotion.
