Driveclub February Update Will Be a Big One, Dev Says

PlayStation 4 racing game Driveclub is more than a year old, but developer Evolution Studios isn’t done supporting the title with new content just yet. Evolution has announced that the game’s next update is coming in February and it’s expected to be a big one. “We’re packing a lot into it,” reads a tweet from the game’s official Twitter account. The message was accompanied by a black and white video. See it below.

It is unclear at this time if Driveclub’s update will be free or paid–or contain a mixture of free and paid content. The game’s Season Pass content ended in July 2015.

Asked specifically about the paid vs. free nature of February’s update, game director Paul Rustchynsky said on Twitter, “We’ll be announcing the details over the next few weeks.”

In other Driveclub news, the racing game is marked down to just $11.24 as part of PlayStation Network’s “Essentials” sale.

Driveclub got off to a rocky start when it launched in October 2014, but it’s rebounded since and has sold more than 2 million copies. An expansion, Driveclub Bikes, was released in 2015, while Evolution continues to support the main game with regular updates and new content.
