Netflix has released the first trailer for The Do-Over, Adam Sandler’s next movie for the streaming service, following his first, 2015’s The Ridiculous Six.
The Do-Over stars Sandler and David Spade, who play characters who are old friends. Tired with their boring lives, they reunite at their 25th high school reunion for “the ultimate mulligan.” They fake their deaths and take on new identities–and from the looks of the trailer, things get pretty crazy really fast.
The Do-Over will be released on Memorial Day–May 27. That’s the same date that Netflix’s Bloodline Season 2 also comes out.
The movie has big shoes to fill, as The Ridiculous Six was Netflix’s most popular movie in its history. Despite poor reviews and controversy regarding its depiction of Native Americans, the Sandler comedy tallied more views during its first 30 days than any other movie in Netflix’s history.
Sandler’s deal with Netflix is for four total films, so two more are coming.
“When these fine people came to me with an offer to make four movies for them, I immediately said yes for one reason and one reason only: Netflix rhymes with ‘wet chicks.’ Let the streaming begin!” Sandler said back in 2014 when the deal was announced (via Deadline).
