Kingsman star Taron Egerton has been keeping himself busy since the first Kingsman hit theatres last year. He starred as Olympic skier Eddie Edwards in Eddie the Eagle and is even in talks to play young Han Solo in a Star Wars spinoff film. And now, he’s teasing the next Kingsman.
Egerton tweeted out the first poster of next year’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The tweet said, “A message from an old friend,” and features a similar pair of glasses to the ones owned by Colin Firth’s character in the first movie alongside the phrase, “Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated.”
Colin Firth played Harry Hart/Galahad, an agent of the Kingsman who was killed in the later parts of the movie. The poster seems to be teasing that he didn’t actually die in the first movie and will make some kind of an appearance in the sequel. Firth has not been confirmed to be in the upcoming sequel.
The Golden Circle currently features Egerton, Mark Strong, and Edward Holcroft in returning roles, with Halle Barry and Julianne Moore joining the cast for the sequel.
