This is What a Razer Store Looks Like

While there are a handful of Razer stores spread throughout Asia, the company currently does not have its own unique retail presence in North America. That changes this Saturday when Razer opens its first US-based store. Located not far from GameSpot HQ at 865 Market Street in San Francisco, California, the company invited us to get a sneak peek of the store before it opens at 10am tomorrow morning.

When you enter the store, one of the first things you’ll see is the massive 16×9-foot 16-screen setup. Razer tells us that you’ll be able to game on it at 4K.

Razer keeps all of its current mechanical keyboards, gaming mice, and gaming headsets along its wall here.

Above the peripherals here is a touchscreen monitor, which allows you to read more about the products below. The stations here allow gamers to try out its custom-made switch types.

Yes, that’s right. The Razer desktop and mouse pad do feature an under-glow.

In case you’re wondering about the glowing case, it’s a modified version of NZXT’s H440 mid-tower chassis. Razer doesn’t sell pre-built systems, but the company does sell the case.

This headset alley here contains all of Razer’s headsets in a bunch of different colors. All the headsets you see underneath the table here will actually be given away opening day.

The store has two large tables with five gaming laptops each. Razer wants to make its store the place for community-related eSports events. Furthermore, while it’s definitely a store, the setup here kind of makes it feel more like an old-school Internet gaming cafe.

Razer will also sell backpacks, carrying cases, and mouse pads in the store.

Razer will be giving away all the Blackwidow Chroma keyboards you see here on opening day.

Razer is showing off its new Razer Blade 14 gaming laptop coupled with a Razer Core, which houses a desktop 980 GPU inside that’s hooked up to the laptop via a USB-C connection.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and curtain drop begins tomorrow at 9:45 am with Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan leading the charge. If you can make it out there early enough, the company will be giving away tons of swag.

You can skip to the end and leave a response. Pinging is currently not allowed.
