Watch Dogs 2 is coming this fall with a new setting and cast of characters. It’s set in the San Francisco Bay Area, and the main character Marcus is part of a hacker group called DedSec. Today, Ubisoft released a new video that discusses Marcus and DedSec more.
The video goes into depth about the character and his motivations, explaining that Marcus is determined to fight against a system that he believes perpetuates injustice. In addition to talking about him, the video also gives some information on Marcus’s friends in DedSec, the hacker cell that you’ll interact with throughout the game. You can watch the full video in the embed above.
This video is the first in a series Ubisoft calls “Remote Access,” which will detail different parts of the game.
Watch Dogs 2 launches on November 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and Ubisoft has got high expectations for it. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot recently stated that the game could be one of the company’s highest-selling titles ever. In addition, it won’t have one of the trademarks of Ubisoft open-world games, climbing towers to reveal parts of the map. You can read our thoughts on the game from E3 2016 here.
