At the start of this year we issued a challenge to the Arcade development community; bring us your best efforts to highlight the release of the free Arcade. As the May 31 deadline approached we saw the number of submissions steadily climb. Currently the Arcade team is busy organizing and gathering all the details for entries. We hope to have a full list of contestants as soon as possible, so expect another update within the next few days.

In the meantime, we wanted to extend our deepest thanks to all of our Arcade community whether you submitted a game, or showed up to our Arcade Nights to play and give feedback. We hope that we can continue to see the same level of support as we move through the judging process.

Here is a brief review of how the judging is going to take place:

• Blizzard will review the complete list of entries and narrow it down to the semi-finalists
• We will issue a Call to Action to have you play and vote on the final five
• A panel of Blizzard judges will decide on first, second, and third place winners
