Rumor: White Xbox One Sunset Overdrive Bundle Listed

A French retailer listed then removed a white Xbox One Sunset Overdrive bundle, priced at €399 ($535, £318). Spotted initially on NeoGaf, GameStop-owned Micromania hasn’t since commented on the listing.

A white Xbox One already exists but is exclusive to Microsoft employees. Branded with “I made this” next to the optical drive, one system was auctioned for charity, selling for $11,300.

According to the initial NeoGaf thread that first reported the white Xbox One in January, Microsoft is also considering a $399 Xbox One without an optical drive. This would mean players wouldn’t be able to play game discs, Blu-rays, and DVD films.

Microsoft recently confirmed a limited edition Assassin’s Creed Unity Xbox One. The company last month also announced unique Xbox One designs for San Diego Comic Con.

GameSpot has contacted Microsoft to ask if it can comment on this white Xbox One rumour.

Sunset Overdrive launches exclusively for Xbox One on October 28. Check out GameSpot’s preview of Insomniac’s latest title.
