The female version of Thor first revealed in August will make her video game debut later this month, when Marvel Puzzle Quest releases a new update.
Thor: Goddess of Thunder will become a legendary, 4-star character reward for the game’s seventh season on October 17. It’s the first time she’ll be seen in any video game, and her appearance comes on the heels of Wednesday’s release of Thor #1, the first comic in which Thor is a woman. D3Publisher didn’t share what Thor would look like in the game, but did pass along the character art below.
This month is a significant one for the game, as October 3 marks the one-year anniversary of Marvel Puzzle Quest’s release. D3Publisher will be doing a number of other things to celebrate, such as adding Devil Dinosaur as a playable character (through an Anniversary Pack and a daily reward for Day 365 players). New players to the game who download it between now and October 18 will get a helping hand in the form of bonus Iso-8, an in-game currency.
Additionally, in the lead up to the release of this version of Thor in the game, there will be special in-game events, though no specifics were provided.
Marvel Puzzle Quest is a free-to-play game available now on PC, iOS, and Android.
