Get $15 Xbox Live Credit for Preordering Xbox One/360 Games at Microsoft Store

If there are any Xbox One or Xbox 360 games coming out this year that you intend to preorder, you may want to do so through the Microsoft Store website. Xbox Live Rewards members will receive 15,000 rewards points for each game they preorder, which equates to $15 in free Xbox Live credit.

The new promotion is now in effect and covers any One or 360 game released between now and the end of the year, including the likes of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Sunset Overdrive, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The only real catch is you can only do this for up to three games, totaling $45 in Xbox Live credit. Also, any preorder must be made no later than 2pm Pacific on the Thursday prior to the game’s release. The full terms and conditions can be found here.

Xbox Live Rewards is a free service that offers rewards credits for doing various things, such as taking surveys and spending money on the Xbox Store. These credits can then be turned into Xbox Live credit that can be spent on games, DLC, or anything else on the Xbox Store. If you’re not already a member, you can sign up now and then begin preordering games.

Separate from this promotion, the Microsoft Store website is offering a $10 gift card when preordering games. Unfortunately, this won’t stack with the Xbox Live Rewards deal, or else there would be no question about the best place to buy your Xbox games this fall.
