Microsoft Teases ‘Splosion Man Dev’s Next Game

While official details are being kept under wraps, Microsoft’s Xbox gaming boss Phil Spencer has teased exciting details about the next project from The Maw and ‘Splosion Man developer Twisted Pixel.

Spencer says he’s seen Twisted Pixel’s next title, and explains that, while it’s still early days, the project is shaping up well. The game is “very different from anything they’ve done before,” Spencer said on Twitter. “More work to do on it but great start.”

The Xbox executive also teased that Twisted Pixel’s unannounced project “will likely be the biggest game they’ve ever built from the look of it.”

Twisted Pixel’s latest game release was motorcycle racing game LocoCycle, which was released as an Xbox One launch title in November 2013 before coming to Xbox 360 and PC earlier this year.

Microsoft acquired Twisted Pixel in 2011.
