As part of Ubisoft’s latest earnings report Thursday, the company announced that combined sell-in of Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Rogue achieved 10 million units during the holiday quarter ended December 31.
Ubisoft said sales at that level represented “very good performance.” By comparison, 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag alone shipped 10 million copies by the same point in time.
However, Unity launched exclusively for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, while Rogue was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A PC version of the game is coming next month.
Black Flag, on the other hand, was released across console generations.
This year’s Assassin’s Creed game is rumored to be Assassin’s Creed Victory for current-generation platforms and PC; it is reportedly set in Victorian-era London.
Ubisoft also today announced new shipment numbers for its other major fall 2014 games.
- Far Cry 4 — 7 million units
- The Crew — 2 million units
- Just Dance franchise — 4 million units
- Watch Dogs — 10 million units
