Master thief Garret steps out from the shadows this week with the Australian release of Thief creeping on to shelves.
The stealth game is a reboot of the classic Thief series, which consisted of Thief: The Dark Project, Thief II: The Metal Age, and Thief: Deadly Shadows.
The game sees the return of series protagonist Garrett. Players step into the quiet shoes of Garrett as he steals his way through a dark Victorian city. The game will be released for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Art technical director Jean-Normand Bucci previously said that the game will look better on the PC than on the Xbox One or PlayStation 4. He explained that while Thief for the new systems from Microsoft and Sony will deliver “much more” than what console gamers have come to expect, the PC version will go even further.

Fans of the Castlevania series may be more interested in the return of Dracula in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 this week. The game will be the first in the series that will feature Dracula as the playable protagonist.
Lords of Shadow 2 is the final game in the Lords of Shadow arc, and will conclude the saga’s storyline. Game producer Dave Cox told GameSpot in a recent interview that the game will “keep players guessing right till the very end“.
