This week sees the return of Nazi-killing soldier William “B.J.” Blazkowicz in Wolfenstein: The New Order. The first-person shooter is the ninth entry into the Wolfenstein series, released five years after 2009’s Wolfenstein.
Wolfenstein: The New Order is set in an alternate 1960s after the Nazis were able to win World War II with the aid of mysterious technology. Players assume the role of Blazkowicz as he bands with other resistance fighters to take them down.
Players can choose to make their way through the game in a stealthy manner or go in guns blazing. According to developer MachineGames, the game can be 20 hours long should players choose to collect everything.
Wolfenstein: The New Order launches May 20 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. Preordering the game will guarantee access to the upcoming Doom beta, though it will be available only on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
