Battlefield 1 Trailer Remade in Grand Theft Auto 5

Grand Theft Auto V is perfect for fans to remake trailers and other videos in. We’ve seen James Bond, Metal Gear Solid, and even the Teletubbies remade in Rockstar’s open-world crime game, and now, we’ve seen the most liked trailer in YouTube history recreated with GTA’s well-known silliness.

Battlefield 1‘s popular trailer has gotten the GTA V treatment from YouTuber J57F, who has remade every scene in Los Santos. The accuracy is impressive, but it’s the moments where you watch a plane run into a lighthouse with no destruction or a guy get chased by a tank that really stand out. Grand Theft Auto V is ripe for ridiculous moments, and you can check them out for yourself in the video below.

Another silly moment comes when the remake reveals its blimp, which definitely does not fit in with the serious tone of the original trailer. If you’re curious as to how the remake stacks up to the original, J57F has posted another video that compares the two. You can check that out at the bottom of this article.

The Battlefield 1 announcement trailer has gotten some significant attention since its reveal last week. It’s been “liked” over one million times on YouTube, and even developers on Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare have praised it.

“It’s a great reveal trailer. Kudos to the DICE team,” Infinity Ward posted on Facebook, while director of communications Eric Monacelli said it had “great song choice” and looked “superb with interesting mechanics teased.”

Battlefield 1 is set to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21. You can play it three days early if you’re willing to pay extra for the $80 deluxe edition or EA/Origin Access.
