Spike Jonze, director of Being John Malkovich and writer on Where the Wild Things Are, is interested in breaking into the game industry.
Badass Digest reports (via Polygon) that during a Q&A session following a Los Angeles screening of his latest film Her, Jonze said he and producer Megan Ellison have been in talks to start making games, though no official details or partners were announced.
Ellison has produced numerous films, including Zero Dark Thirty, The Master, and True Grit (2010), among many others.
Jonze and Ellison would not be the first film veterans to try their hand at games. James Cameron worked with Ubisoft on Avatar: The Game, while Star Trek and Star Wars director J.J. Abrams is currently working with Valve on an all-new franchise.
