Bloodline Season 2 Gets First Images, Premiere Date

The second season of Netflix’s Bloodline will debut on May 27, the streaming network has announced, while the first production images for the new slate of episodes have also been released.

“You don’t know the whole story,” the show’s Twitter account wrote today, referencing the events of Season 1, which ended in dramatic fashion.

The production stills showcase some of the main characters looking stressed out and tense, which should be no surprise given all the drama that went down in the first season.

Bloodline Season 1 debuted in February 2015. The show was created by Damages veterans Todd and Glenn Kessler and Daniel Zelman.

The brain-teasing drama takes place in the Florida Keys and follows a family who has some…history to put it lightly. Critics largely enjoyed the first season, which holds an 80 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes and 75 percent on GameSpot sister site Metacritic.

Bloodline stars Kyle Chandler, Ben Mendelsohn, Linda Cardellini, and Norbert Leo Butz.
