The beauty of Chatroulette, a service that randomly matches two people for a video conversion, is that you never know what you’ll get. There was a time when your chances of connecting and immediately seeing someone’s dangly bits was something like nine out of ten.
These days, it’s a little less likely. The mischievous miscreants behind the surprise dongs have found something else to occupy their time–probably making ‘My Name is Jeff’ Vines or stealing jokes on Twitter.
Surprisingly, there’s some creative Chatrouletting happening now. Steve Kardynal, for example, throws on a bikini and lip-syncs Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe, and the reactions are priceless.
More impressive, however, is the setup below, which involves creating a common FPS scenario in real life and then asking viewers to play through it live by issue commands to the host.
The attention to detail is quite impressive, as the stream features a Doom-esque HUD, puzzles, and set-pieces. Check it out below.
