DreamHack 2014 and an epic saga of events begin in Bucharest, Romania April 26 – 27. With Taeja’s throne vacant, what champion will emerge to conquer DreamHack’s tour across Europe? The position at the top of the WCS Global Standings is one of the many stakes up for grabs this weekend.
WCS America Champion Ko Seok “HyuN” and WCS Europe Champion Jang “MC” Min Chul will both be in Bucharest to compete. The StarCraft II titans are separated by just 50 points at the top of the WCS ranks. HyuN and MC previously won DreamHack events, along with 5 of their opponents at the event: StarDust, HerO, MaNa, HuK and Leenock. The sheer density of talent promises the most ferocious competition.
The players will compete against each other for $25,000 and 4000 WCS points from April 26 – 27 in Bucharest, Romania. You can watch all WCS Global Events on StarCraft2.com/WCS or go straight to the source at DreamHack’s Twitch. The games begin at 21:00 am CEST on Saturday, and 11:00 CEST on Sunday and go all day.
The stream will feature premier shoutcasting Nick “Tasteless” Plott, Dan “Artosis” Stemkoski, Benjamin “DeMusliM” Baker and Geoff “iNcontroL” Robinson. Sue “Smix” Lee and Alex “FunKa” Varrier will be on site to translate and observe respectively.
