DreamHack Open 2014: Valencia

The sunny city of Valencia is the third stop on DreamHack’s tour of Europe. Some of the world’s best StarCraft II players will compete in the heat of the Spanish summer for their share of $25,000 USD and 4,000 WCS points.

The competition will be fierce, with the current top three contenders in the WCS global standings participating. Ko Seok “HyuN” and Jang “MC” Min Chul will continue their race for the top spot, along with reigning WCS Europe Champion Son “StarDust” Seok Hee.

These three will no doubt be a tough test for any challenger, but there are plenty of other world-class players hoping to take home the first prize of $10,000 USD. With the likes of Choi “Bomber” Ji Sung, Juan “VortiX” Moreno Durán, Park “ForGG” Ji Soo, Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen, and Ilyes “Stephano” Satouri among those competing, DreamHack Valencia is sure to provide some memorable match-ups.
