E3 press conferences are typically about the spectacle of lots of different games, lots of trailers, and just a tease of gameplay. Bethesda threw all that out the window with its debut 2015 presentation; the publisher closed out its show with over half an hour focused exclusively on the highly anticipated Fallout 4.

Fallout 4 had a surprise pre-E3 announcement back on June 3. It was a confident move, and it showed that Bethesda still had a lot to talk about once E3 rolled around.

Fallout 4 is getting a real-life Pip Boy, which will be available in the game’s $120 special edition.

Free-to-play mobile games don’t typically draw a lot of positive attention from hardcore gamers, but there was a lot of positive buzz around Fallout Shelter. It’s out now on iOS; and Android version is due “sometime later.”
During the press conference, Bethesda handed out a limited edition set of figurines to lucky attendees. However, those same collector’s item showed up on ebay immediately afterward for over $300.
