Final Fantasy 15 Gets 10-Minute, 1080p Gameplay Trailer

Square Enix has published a new version of the ten-minute Final Fantasy XV gameplay trailer originally released in October as part of the Paris Game Festival. What’s new this time, however, is that this video comes straight from Square Enix, and it’s available to watch in glorious 1080p.

One thing to consider as you watch the trailer, however, is that it may not necessarily be representative of the final game. “This is a work in progress. The final product may be subject to change,” Square Enix says.

The video highlights Final Fantasy XV’s massive world, and some of the creatures and lush environments you’ll explore on your journey.

A second video (below) provides a deeper dive into the technology and processes Square Enix used to bring Final Fantasy XV to life.

As for when you’ll get to play Final Fantasy XV, the game’s director recently said the title is only 55 percent finished. However, that doesn’t mean you’ll need to wait another eight years to play it. For more on Final Fantasy XV, check out GameSpot’s previous coverage.
