Final Fantasy XIII-2 Hitting PC December 11 With 1080p/60fps Graphics

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will come to PC through Steam on December 11, Square Enix announced today through a new trailer, which you can watch above right now.

The PC version of Final Fantasy XIII-2 will include downloadable content from the original console game, as well as the ability to play with either English or Japanese voiceovers. The game also includes 60fps graphics and resolution options, including 720p, 1080p, and more, Square Enix said.

The Final Fantasy XIII-2 Steam page also reveals the game’s system requirements, which are listed below. The game will sell for $20 at launch, though you can buy it today for $18 as part of a special pre-release discount.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows XP SP2 or later
  • Processor: 2GHz Dual Core CPU
  • Memory: 1500 MB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA Geforce 8 Series/ ATI Radeon HD 4000 series VRAM 256MB or later
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Hard Drive: 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Sound card compatible with DirectX 9.0c

In other Final Fantasy PC news, Square Enix has announced that the Steam version of Final Fantasy XIII is getting an update in December that will introduce new graphics options.

Final Fantasy XIII-Lightning Returns is also coming to PC through Steam, and is expected to launch by spring 2015.
