Mark More information on the new character and level cap increase to be given at PAX East.
Gearbox Software has officially released its previously teased trailer for Borderlands 2‘s new character class.
The new character, which will be Borderlands 2’s sixth class, appears to be focused around brutal melee attacks.
Gearbox promises to divulge more information about the new character during its panel at PAX East, and will also reveal details on the long-awaited level cap increase.
More Borderlands 2 information will be dropped during the panel, promises Gearbox.
So far Gearbox has released three expansions for the game: Captain Scarlett and Her Captain’s Booty, Mr Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, and Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt. All are available as part of the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, with an additional chunk of content still to be delivered.
The game’s fifth character class, the Mechromancer, isn’t included in the season pass.
The Gearbox Software panel at PAX East will be held at 12:30 EST on March 24.
