Halo: The Master Chief Collection developer 343 Industries has released a trailer for Remaking the Legend – Halo 2 Anniversary, a documentary about the game and 343’s efforts to remake it.
The trailer description says the documentary will give viewers “unprecedented access to the development process as 343 and their team of partners from around the world bring Halo 2 to the Xbox One, while maintaining and honoring its fabled past.”
Much like Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary is an updated version of the original Xbox game first released in 2004. The campaign will feature a Classic Mode to instantly switch between the remastered next-gen graphics and original game, updated sound effects, and completely new cut-scenes.
The Master Chief Collection includes remastered versions of Halo 1-4, as well as beta access to 2015’s Halo 5: Guardians. It launches for Xbox One on November 11. The game is now available to pre-download, though you should be prepared to download a 20 GB day-one patch.
