Square Enix’s Unique Figures of Batman and Other Iconic Heroes
The show floor at San Diego Comic Con was full of figures, statues, and collectibles. But as is true of many of Square Enix’s figures, the company took creative liberties with its newest line of Batman figures, as well as with several other ubiquitous heroes from the DC and Marvel universes. We’ve compiled some of our favorite examples we saw on the show floor.
Wild West Batman
If Bruce Wayne herded cattle and tended a ranch.
Batman Rogues Gallery (Joker)
If Batman and his arch nemesis fused together, this would be the result.
Spartan Batman
The battle of Thermopylae may have played out differently with Batman there.
Steampunk Batman
Not to be confused with the Bruce Wayne from Gotham by Gaslight.
Batman Rogues Gallery (Two-Face)
Not only does this version of Batman have a conflicting personality, but his conflicting personality has a conflicting personality.
Bushido Batman
Square’s Bushido Batman wields two swords and armor reminiscent of feudal Japan.
Square’s Deadpool
The merc with a mouth, as designed by Square Enix.
Batgirl
A new variation of Batman’s ally.
Square’s Wolverine
Wolverine isn’t a character from Batman, or even from DC Comics, but Square took a stab at him anyway.
