GameStop and Jimmy Kimmel have teamed up for a new video to promote Destiny: The Taken King.
The funny video below starring Guillermo aired during Friday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. It begins by ripping the whole idea of preordering video games (“preordering is for losers!”), but then a very unexpected guest shows up to change Guillermo’s mind. We won’t spoil it for you, but it’s great.
Basically, if you don’t preorder Destiny: The Taken King at GameStop, your Destiny team will leave you, your dogs will abandon you, and you’ll get mayo on every sandwich even if you don’t ask for it, apparently.
Destiny: The Taken King launches on September 15 for all platforms. GameStop has a nice trade-in program going on now where you can get The Legendary Edition (which includes The Dark Below and House of Wolves) for $40 instead of $60.
