Hideo Kojima is set to appear at Comic-Con later today to discuss his next game, Death Stranding, among other things. The event will be hosted by Geoff Keighley and, if recent Twitter updates are any indication, there is likely to be a new trailer.
The official English account for Kojima confirmed the event will take place at 3 PM PT and will be streamed. The figures based on Kojima Productions mascot Ludens will likely be one topic of discussion, as production company 1000Toys is mentioned in the hashtags.
The tweet says “New Trailer?!,” which has led to speculation that we could see more of Death Stranding today. However, it could also be that the trailer is instead for a figure or some other tie-in product. Take a look at his tweet below.

Kojima previously showed off Death Stranding at E3 2016. Although the debut trailer is quite confusing, it is stuffed with clues and, according to Kojima, “representative” of the final game. The Metal Gear creator also previously said his new PlayStation 4 and PC game will be the best he’s ever made. You can read this post to find out more about what we know so far about Death Stranding.
As mentioned previously, Kojima’s talk will be streamed at 3 PM PT and you’ll be able to watch it here on GameSpot. We’re also providing breaking new on everything happening at Comic-Con, so check back regularly for the latest info on video games, comic books, movies, and TV shows.
