Marvel Entertainment and mobile game developer DeNA on Monday announced Marvel Mighty Heroes, what they’re calling a “real-time co-cop brawler” that stars heroes and villains of the Marvel Universe. The game will launch “soon” for iOS and Android devices.
In Marvel Mighty Heroes, gamers will choose from a deep roster of Marvel characters and build a “dream-team” of heroes and villains. Some of the available characters include Iron Man, Groot, Captain America, Star-Lord, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Spider-Man, as well as “dozens” of their allies and nemeses.
Each character has their own skillset and special abilities. Marvel Mighty Heroes also supports multiplayer (up to four players) and online leaderboards that will track how you stack up against friends and the world over.
Marvel Mighty Heroes will be a free-to-play title when it launches later this year for iOS and Android devices. While you wait for the game to launch, you can visit its newly launched website to vote for Hulk or Rocket Raccoon to receive as a free special hero at launch.
