Activision on Tuesday announced ten more tracks that will be featured in this year’s Guitar Hero Live.
While previous announcements revealed pop and classic rock tunes, this latest batch of songs is focused on heavier offerings.
Music from metal veterans Mastodon, Trivium, Killswitch Engage, and Marilyn Manson are among the newly confirmed songs. Check out the ten new cuts below.
We’ve also added them to our Guitar Hero Live Spotify playlist, which includes previously announced tracks. The game now has 37 confirmed songs.
A tweet from the Guitar Hero account states that the ten songs revealed today are “in-game,” which leaves open the possibility that these tracks are part of the Guitar Hero TV expanded network of songs.
An Activision representative told GameSpot: “At this point we’re announcing that they’ll be a mix of both Live and TV songs.”
The tweet also used the hashtag #TracklistTuesday, which suggests that Activision may announce new songs every week.
Guitar Hero Live launches this fall for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and mobile devices. More into Rock Band? Just last week, Harmonix announced the first six songs for Rock Band 4.
Guitar Hero Live’s May 19 confirmed songs are:
- Bring Me the Horizon — “Shadow Moses”
- Deftones — “Diamond Eyes”
- Killswitch Engage — “In Due Time”
- Marilyn Manson — “Disposable Teens”
- Marmozets — “Move Shake Hide”
- Mastodon — “High Road”
- Of Mine and Men — “Bones Exposed”
