Next Halo Graphic Novel Announced, Detailed

A new Halo graphic novel series is coming this year. Dark Horse Comics and 343 Industries today officially announced Halo: Tales from Slipspace, a anthology based on the blockbuster sci-fi shooter series.

Tales from Slipspace includes “all-new stories” described in a press release as “action-packed.” However, no further details about the story were made available. However, a single piece of art was released (above).

Halo franchise director Frank O’Connor and producer Tyler Jeffers are working on the series, alongside comic book industry people such as Jonathan Wayshak, Eric Nguyen, Alex Irvine, Kody Chamberlain, Dave Crosland, John Jackson Miller, Jonathan Goff, Simon Roy, Duffy Boudreau.

This new series follows the previously released Initiation and Escalation novels. Additionally, Dark Horse will re-release its Fall of Reach graphic novel later this month.

Tales from Slipsace will go on sale on October 12, 2016. It will be available at local comic book shops, as well as retailers such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and IndieBound for $20.

As for the Halo game franchise, Halo 5: Guardians‘ next free update, Ghosts of Meridian, has been pushed to April. You can also play Team Snipers this weekend in the Xbox One shooter.
