This week at San Diego Comic-Con, Disney will hold a special panel for Star Wars Episode VII – The Force Awakens, but don’t expect to see a new trailer or clips from the upcoming film. That’s according to a new report today from Entertainment Weekly, which cites sources as saying the next official trailer will instead be released this fall. The movie itself hits theaters on December 18.
The Force Awakens panel at Comic-Con will, however, deliver a “behind-the-scenes look” at the movie, according to the publication. Director J.J. Abrams, writer Lawrence Kasdan, and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy will be on-hand during the panel.
What’s more, the site reports that “several” actors who have not yet announced their roles in The Force Awakens will appear during the panel. The presentation will be held at the famous Hall H and is moderated by Nerdist creator Chris Hardwick.
