No One Can Stop… BlizzCon!

You may have defeated Malthael and put an end to the Angel of Death, but no one can stop BlizzCon! If you’re planning to join us live at the event in California or will be tuning in to celebrate from home with a Virtual Ticket, take a look at what’s in store for Diablo III at BlizzCon 2014.

Taking the Stage

Want to know what we’re working on? We’ve got two panels this weekend that offer an inside look at our design process and will give you a taste of what’s to come!

Diablo III – What's Next?

Check out “Diablo III – What’s Next” on Friday, November 7 from 2:15-3:15 p.m. PST (23:15-00:15 CET) for a look at some of the new features and concepts in development. Updates include a taste of new loot, upcoming balance changes, and a few surprises! The discussion will be led by Game Director Josh Mosqueira, Lead Designer Kevin Martens, Senior Technical Designer Wyatt Cheng, and Senior Game Designer Jonny Ebbert—you won’t want to miss it!

Evolving Reaper of Souls:

If items and itemization are your passion, our second panel is sure to pique your interest. Wyatt Cheng and Josh Mosqueira will be joined by Game Designer Travis Day to discuss how our philosophies have changed, and talk about the lessons we’ve learned throughout the development and launch of both Diablo III and Reaper of Souls.

Join us for the second panel on Saturday, November 8 from 12:45-1:45 p.m. PST (21:45-22:45 CET), as we take a retrospective look at the past, present, and future of item design in Diablo III. Not to mention, we'll also be revealing some upcoming Legendary and Set items!

Check out the full panel schedule here for more information.

Don't Forget the Legendary Workshop!

We’re inviting a few lucky BlizzCon attendees to join us on stage during the Legendary Workshop panel, where they’ll help us develop our second-ever Community legendary item live at BlizzCon!
