People who already own the standard version on PC can upgrade to the Definitive Edition for $5. If you’re just getting in now, the full game sells for $20. Microsoft also pointed out in its announcement today that Ori and the Blind Forest supports cross-platform saves with the Xbox One edition.

Ori and the Blind Forest’s Definitive Edition was originally due to launch in March alongside the Xbox One version, but was delayed to ensure the game would deliver a “great experience.”

The Definitive Edition comes with new areas, music, story elements, and more abilities such as Light Burst and Dash. It also introduces an Easy difficulty option, as well as other fan-requested content.

“Immediately after the release of Ori and the Blind Forest, we heard cries from fans asking for even more content. Instead of ‘just’ releasing DLC, we decided to craft an entirely new package that includes both the new content as well as features that fans have asked us to add to the original game,” developer Moon Studios said in a statement today. “We spent almost an entire year on this new release of Ori and the Blind Forest and hope that we have now delivered the ultimate Ori experience for all of our fans out there!”

Ori and the Blind Forest was ranked by GameSpot as the seventh best game overall in 2015.

GameSpot’s 9/10 Ori and the Blind Forest review was glowing, with critic Kevin VanOrd concluding: “It’s important not to mistake Ori and the Blind Forest for being simply beautiful. It certainly is–but it is also unceasingly clever. It consistently surprises you with new tricks: gravitational divergences, new ways to move through its spaces, and carefully designed levels that require you to think quickly and respond.”
