Polish developer CI Games has released a new patch for the PC version of Dark Souls-esque role-playing game Lords of the Fallen, improving general game stability and offering fixes for some bugs. The patch is available as an automatic update on Steam right now.
The November 5 Lords of the Fallen patch notes, via CI Games, are spelled out below.
- Improved game stability
- Fixes the APEX DLL issue that users have encountered lately
- Advanced display settings are now saved after restart
- Fixed Catacombs door spawn point
- Fixed Catacombs pit issue–unfortunately, the fix does not get you out of the hole; it prevents occurrence of the issue.
“CI Games wishes to thank gamers for their patience, support and encouragement, and apologizes for any inconvenienced caused by these issues,” a representative for CI Games told GameSpot. “The team is also working hard to address some additional bugs and improve the experience across all platforms.”
Lords of the Fallen players on PC who continue to run into issues and bugs can leave feedback for CI Games on the game’s Steam page, or fill out this form on CI Games’ website.
In addition, CI Games has announced that it will hold a live Twitch stream on Thursday, November 6, starting at 11 AM Pacific / 2 PM Eastern. Developers will play the game and presumably talk about the changes during the live broadcast.
Lords of the Fallen was released at the end of October across PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. For more on the title, check out GameSpot’s review and what other critics are saying.
