PlayStation Vue Coming to More Cities Tonight

Sony’s PlayStation Vue has been available in New York for several months now, but the service will be expanding soon. Tonight at Sony’s E3 2015 press conference, the company announced its plans to launch PlayStation Vue in Los Angeles and San Francisco tonight. The new cloud-based TV service will bring “live TV, movies and sports without a cable or satellite subscription.”

Sony also announced that, in addition to partnerships with providers such as Showtime, Vue will also feature a brand new channel from Machinima.

According to Sony’s Andrew House, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to subscribe to PlayStation Vue packages at a discounted rate.

Sony is expected to release more details on the service soon.
