Pokemon Go continues on its path towards world domination today, launching in Canada.
Developer Niantic Labs launched the massively popular mobile game in the country today, July 17, informing Canadians that they can now “discover and capture Pokemon all around you.”

The launch in Canada comes just days after Pokemon Go was released in 26 new countries, including Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Poland, and Sweden.
Pokemon Go is now available in a number of major regions such as the US, UK, and Australia. The game has yet to be released in The Pokemon Company’s home country, Japan, and it sounds like Niantic Labs is holding the game back due to server capacity issues.
Overall, Niantic Labs hopes to release the game in around 200 regions in the near future.
In other Pokemon Go news, authorities in Florida says a man shot at teenagers, believing they had robbed him, when they were apparently in fact only searching for Pokemon.
