New update for Valve’s puzzler brings splitscreen co-op play, Big Picture support, and various fixes.
Released more than a year-and-a-half ago, Valve is continuing to update Portal 2. The company has announced that it has released an update for the PC version of its puzzle game that adds split-screen co-op play, among other things.
Additionally, Portal 2 on PC now supports Steam’s Big Picture mode, allowing users to play the game through their television sets.
In addition to adding new features to Portal 2, Valve also used the update to fix various issues, the first of which fixes controller input’s “quick ping” button that caused player movement to stop. Additionally, the update fixes players’ inability to exit Robot Enrichment or Create Test Chambers menus while using a controller.
