PS4 gets free Mercenary Kings on PS Plus in April, as Sony announces full lineup

Sony has unveiled the list of games it will be dishing out for free to users with a PlayStation Plus subscription this April.

The headline act is Mercenary Kings on PlayStation 4, the new 2D shooter from the Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game developer that is inspired by wonderful Neo Geo classic Metal Slug.

Mercenary Kings, which is being sold for $19.99/£14.99, was only just released on Steam this week and will debut for PlayStation 4 on April 2.

The list then changes depending on whether you’re in the US or Europe. US customers get Batman: Arkham City, Stealth Inc. A Clone in the Dark, and Castle of Illusion on PlayStation 3. Also included is Velocity Ultra and Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD for Vita.

Meanwhile, European customers get PES 2014 on PS3 and MotoGP 13 on Vita. There’s also Sly Cooper Thieves in Time and Hotline Miami, which will work on both platforms thanks to their Cross Buy support.
