The High School Starleague is getting prepped to kick off its third season and the registration deadline is rapidly approaching.The 2013 – 2014 school year is shaping up to be the league’s largest and most ambitious yet as the HSL continues to reach additional high schools throughout North America. What's more, the HSL is planning to expand into Europe as well this season if at least 10 teams from the region sign up for Round 1 play.
Format
HSL Season 3 is a team-league competition that will span the 2013 – 2014 school year and features two rounds of StarCraft II competition, one for each school semester. Round 1 will be played in GSTL-style All-Kill format, runs from November 8, 2013 through February 8, 2014, and you can go here to check out a detailed Round 1 schedule. The second round of Season 3 will feature its own registration period and will be played in Proleague format, though exact dates will be announced at a later time.
Requirements
Any team seeking to register for HSL Season 3 must have a roster of at least four players, all of whom must be currently enrolled as high school students, and attend the same school. Registration is free, but be quick if you’re looking to get your team enrolled for Round 1 because signups close at 11:59 p.m. PST on Wednesday, November 6.
