Resident Evil shooter spinoff Umbrella Corps is not going to make it out in May as previously expected. Capcom announced today that the PlayStation 4 and PC shooter will now be released on June 21.
Explaining the delay, Capcom said in a statement that the push to June will provide the development team “some spend some extra time [to optimize] the game to bring you the best experience possible.”
Umbrella Corps will be available on June 21 for PS4 and PC through digital platforms, priced at $30.
A new trailer for the game has also been released, focusing on the various customization options players will have available to them for weapons, armor, and character emotes. You can watch the video above, while even more details are available here in this Capcom Unity blog post.
Umbrella Corps will support up to six players, with two teams facing off against each other in many of the gameplay modes. The game will also include a single-player mission mode called “The Experiment” and a wave-based survival mode.
