Smash Bros. Prank Tricks Gamers Into Believing 10-Year-Old Girl Is Fighting Game Prodigy

During a recent promotional event in California, GameStop tricked a group of elite Super Smash Bros. Wii U players into thinking a 10-year-old girl was some kind of fighting game prodigy.

As you can see in the video above, the girl, Karrissa, dominates every challenger. Onlookers are left speechless, and she even talks some serious smack. “Are you not entertained?” she exclaims.

She earns herself the title of “Karissa The Destroyer,” but she’s not actually playing the game. As it turns out, professional gamer Liquid’KDJ was actually at the controls the entire time.

Watch the funny video above to see how it all went down.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is out now. For more on the title, check out GameSpot’s review in progress.
