1. Reimagined Star Wars action figures
Square Enix, the famed publisher of the Final Fantasy franchise, has given several Star Wars characters their own spin for its Star Wars Play Arts Variant Figures set.
2. Boba Fett
The bounty hunter who captured Han Solo is one of three character figurines revealed by the Japanese game publisher.
3. Stormtrooper
Become an elite soldier in the Galactic Empire as one of these reimagined Stormtroopers. Or if you want to pretend you're Luke Skywalker underneath one of those suits, that's cool, too.
4. 11-inches tall
Each Star Wars figurine stands just under a foot tall.
5. Don't mess with a Stormtrooper
Stormtroopers once looked like foes you could easily bypass, but not anymore. The Stormtrooper's new, stylized look screams "not to be trifled with."
6. Interchangeable accessories
Every figurine from Square Enix's Play Arts line will include a base for the 11-inch toy, plus interchangeable weapons and hand pieces.
7. Take my money!
When the action figures are released in July, they'll be priced at ¥12,000, or about $100 USD each.
8. Boba Fett's weaponry
One fun aspect of Square Enix's Star Wars figures is the ability to change Boba Fett's weapons. Fett gets a heavy blaster, a blaster pistol and a pair of knives, plus fire artillery parts, jets and four hand pieces.
9. Stormtrooper's arsenal
Stormtroopers pack a heavy blaster rifle, a blaster rifle with muzzle flash, and four optional hand sets.
10. Japanese Influence
Square Enix likes to put its own twist on iconic figures. For example, it's clear that the Star Wars characters have a Japanese Final Fantasy influence in their armor.
11. Darth Vader's lightsaber and Force powers
Darth Vader is, of course, equipped with his signature red lightsaber, plus a lightsaber with a battle effect, and a hand piece with a force feature.
12. Not Square Enix's first time
