Adding to the list of quirky costumes in Bayonetta 2, Nintendo revealed a Star Fox costume for the game’s heroine to wear (called Star Mercenary here). The outfit joins the previously announced Princess Peach, Samus Aran (Metroid), and Link attire announced earlier this year.
Today’s Nintendo Direct presentation provided an in-depth overview of the game, its story, and battle system.

Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive launching October 24, and it will also come packaged with a digital download of the original game. The game’s director, Yusuke Hashimoto, has talked before about the postive experience of working with Nintendo and how we would “love to do it again.”
In the US, the game will cost $59.99 at retail (which includes both Bayonetta 2 and the original Bayonetta). But you can also purchase the games individually from the Nintendo eShop. When purchased together, you’ll be given a discount that brings the price for both games together down to $59.98.
